A fast growing manufacturing distribution company with a reputation and brand that precedes itself is seeking add a QA/QC Director to their team.

Responsibilities:
● Develop and implement a comprehensive QA/QC strategy aligned with organizational
goals.
● Identify opportunities for improvement in quality processes and systems, driving
efficiency and effectiveness.
● Ensure compliance with industry standards, certifications, and regulations
● Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing QA/QC team, including a Fabric
Engineer and a Garment Technician.
● Develop and implement risk management strategies to address potential quality
issues.
● Establish and maintain quality standards for suppliers, conducting audits and
ensuring consistent quality.
● Oversee rigorous testing and validation processes to ensure products meet or exceed
quality specifications.
● Utilize analytics and reporting to monitor quality metrics, identify trends, and inform
decision-making.
● Collaborate with customer service teams to address quality-related customer
feedback and drive improvements.
● Collaborate and manage the relationship with our third party auditors.
Qualifications:
● 10+ years in quality management roles, with at least 5 years in a leadership capacity.
● Bachelor’s degree in Quality Management or a related field
● Relevant certifications such as Six Sigma, ISO Lead Auditor, or ASQ certifications are
highly desirable.
● Deep understanding of QA/QC principles, methodologies, and best practices.
● Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
● Exceptional leadership and team management abilities.
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
